Mission & Vision
At its core, our mission is to serve as the Nation's first and only response to anomalous phenomenon; whether it be a foreign agency or a supernatural abomination, the Agency will always prioritize the safety of the United States and her citizens. In order to protect this safety, the Agency has made it a top priority to maintain the global secrecy of anomalous phenomenon; though it is impossible to keep them a complete secret, the Agency has succeeded in keeping the majority of the world population unaware as to the scope and nature of anomalies.
Explaining Mission Centers
When the need arises for the Agency to act against a particular force or group of forces outside of their current jurisdiction, a Mission Center is formed by the highest level of Agency administration. The Mission Center is quickly formed by reallocating assets (such as resources, personnel, anomalous phenomenon and technologies, etc.) from other mission centers around the globe. Mission Centers operate separately from one another, possessing their own hierarchies and personnel, but all Mission Centers cooperate through higher administration and the STAC to ensure smooth operations between all branches of the Agency.
Current Mission Centers
North American Counteranomaly Mission Center
(NACA-MC)
Established alongside the formal founding of the Agency, the NACA-MC is dedicated to the protection of the public from anomalies (via containment, destruction, or the utilization of other anomalies) within North America and it's adjacent island territories.
Japanese Surrender Counteranomaly Mission Center (JSCA-MC)
Established in August of 1954 following the demilitarization of Japan, the JCA-MC is dedicated to the acquisition, relocation, and study of anomalous phenomenon within the territory of Japan, as well as maintaining the Agency's territorial anomalous control over the nation of Japan.
Russia Anomalous Developments Mission Center
(RAD-MC)
Established in September of 1945 following the discovery of a network of anomalous agents operating within the borders of (then) Soviet Russia, the RAD-MC concentrates on gathering intelligence, seizing anomalous phenomenon, and taking territorial anomalous control away from the Soviet government through covert operations.
Previous Mission Centers
Axis Threat Active Response Mission Center
(ATAR-MC)
Established in 1936 several days after the formation of the Axis powers, the ATAR-MC was responsible for monitoring and gathering intelligence and anomalous from the Axis powers through covert operations, as well as aiding the Allied powers in their defense against targeted anomalous threats. ATAR-MC was dissolved on October 1st, 1945, roughly one month after the end of World War II.
