Organization & Structure
Our Agency is made up of seven distinct departments, known as directorates, which join forces under the umbrella of Mission Centers. Each team brings a unique set of capabilities that, when combined, support our vital mission.
Directorate of Administration & Logistics
The Directorate of Administration and Logistics consists primarily of highly skilled individuals who collectively serve as the head of the Agency. They are responsible for all administrative functions, such as the hiring and firing of personnel, budgeting and procurement. Most importantly, the Directorate of Administration & Logistics is responsible for the distribution of security clearances; they are also responsible for training all members of staff (excluding STARS agents) who hold a leadership role.

Directorate of Anomalous Science & Technology
The Directorate of Anomalous Science & Technology works to understand the incomprehensible through constant study and research, which is then used to create new, stunning technologies. These scientists and engineers are organized by expertise, with the most experienced among them being elected to the Science & Technology Administrative Council (STAC), who meet quarterly to discuss new discoveries and vote on major decisions that have to be made by Agency scientists.

Directorate of Operations
The Directorate of Operations handles the clandestine acquisition of violent anomalies and anomalies controlled by third parties. When necessary, and under unique circumstances, they conduct covert action as directed by Agency administration. When the Directorate of Operations is required to operate, they do so in the form of Special Tactics and Anomalous Response Squads (STARS).

Directorate of Intelligence
The Directorate of Intelligence provides timely, accurate, and objective intelligence analysis regarding anomalies within the Agency's area of operation. Analysts maintain a constant stream of communication with field agents to ensure the acquisition of anomalies and inform Agency officials on key issues. Furthermore, they are responsible with collaborating with friendly institutions (police precincts, mail companies, etc.) to form a large body of plain-clothes agents, capable of quickly seizing non-violent anomalies without issue.

Directorate of Public & International Affairs
The Directorate of Public & International Affairs is responsible for maintaining the clandestine status of the Agency and maintaining diplomatic relations with similarly positioned Agencies from other nations around the world. They are also responsible for making contact and negotiating with non-governmental organizations with a primary focus on supernatural or preternatural forces.

Directorate of Ethics & Compliance
The Directorate of Ethics & Compliance exists to ensure that ethical guidelines and standards are followed, both for personnel and anomalies that have been determined to possess human rights. They are responsible for maintaining high morale among Agency officials and ensuring that Agency activity is compliant with all international laws and regulations governing anomalous research. The Directorate of Ethics & Compliance is also responsible for the investigation of misconduct and breaches of protocol.

Directorate of Digital Innovation
The Directorate of Digital Innovation, the Agency's newest directorate, accelerates innovation across the FASA. The directorate makes sure teams have the tools and techniques they need to operate in a modern, connected world and remain clandestine. From cybersecurity to IT infrastructure, these officers keep FASA ahead of the competition in the digital landscape.
